At the November 30th Board of
Directors meeting, Alex Gorsky announced that he will step down as Executive Chairman,
effective January 2023, and the Board appointed Joaquin Duato to assume the
position of Chairman in addition to his role as Chief Executive Officer.
As part of
our journey to create two independent companies, we need to set up the new
Johnson & Johnson and Kenvue, the planned New Consumer Health Company
(Kenvue), to be physically and operationally separate. This includes our
workplaces, which will affect access to Company Stores, Child Development
Centers and other site amenities. We recognize that our retirees use these,
where available, so please review the information available here in order to
plan accordingly for the changes ahead.

As a J&J retiree, your pension, savings and retiree medical benefits will not be affected by the planned New Consumer Health Company (NCHC) retirement program or the expected transition of NCHC employees into that program, and there is no action required on your part. Anyone who retires from J&J prior to the planned separation will continue to be a J&J retiree regardless of which sector they worked in.
